DuraSwing 4 Series Door Operators

These innovative systems cater to a wide range of applications, ensuring smooth and safe operation in various environments.
Applications and Versatility
The DuraSwing™ 4 Series includes three distinct applications:
DuraSwing™ 4S: Automates safety gates (slide type) for added security and convenience.
DuraSwing™ 4C: Operates hatch doors directly from the elevator or lift cab, making it an ideal choice for LULA (Limited Use, Limited Access) elevators.
DuraSwing™ 4H: Manages hatch doors from the hall-side of the elevator shaft, providing flexibility in installation and operation.
Each system features slight variations in electronics and hardware to suit its specific application. Despite these differences, all models share the hallmark of true microprocessor control, which reduces the need for manual adjustments and ensures a seamless, quiet operation.
Safety and Efficiency
The DuraSwing™ 4 Series is designed with safety and efficiency at its core. The systems are equipped with sophisticated obstruction detection capabilities. When opening, if the gate encounters an obstruction, it will reverse and shut down to prevent accidents. During closing, the gate will re-open, hold, and attempt to close again if obstructed. This obstruction sensitivity is programmable, and both force and opening width are adjustable to meet the specific needs of your installation.
The DuraSwing™ 4C stands out as the most cost-effective solution for full automation, especially for LULA elevators. By mounting both the safety gate and hatch door operators on the cab, this model allows for the seamless operation of all in-line gates and doors using cab-mounted equipment.
